The museums are closed: May 1st, December 25th, Easter Monday

Free entry: every Tuesday from 14, Wednesday-Sunday  one hour before closing, the first Sunday of the month until Sunday 3th December  2017

To avoid overcrowding, groups must communicate when they will visit the museum at least 15 days in advance (Aster: 02-20404175; segreteria@spazioaster.it) irrespective of whether they wish to use the educational services of the museum.

A ticket includes the entrance to all the Castle Museums and the new Pietà Rondanini Museum-Michelangelo.
Tickets can be bought online (without pre-sale charges).

Categories of visitors with free entry: Civil servants working for Monuments and Fine Arts Offices and civil servants working for Municipal Museums; Accredited journalists; Children under 18 years old; Tourist guides and interpreters accompanying groups (with a valid license); Teachers accompaniyng school groups; ICOM members; Disabled; Researchers with permission granted by the Museum Management; Members of local and national accredited associations for the safeguard and conservation of the natural, historical and cultural environment and heritage.
Categories of visitors with  discounted tickets: over 65s; Employees of the municipal Administration; University and Academy of Fine Arts students.

Cards

Tourist Museum Card: offers free admission to all the Civic Museums for 3 days. It is on sale online (without costs of presale)

Musei Lombardia Milano: allows admission to all the Civic Museums for one year, it is valid for one year from the date of issue and it is on sale on line (without costs presale) and the ticket offices of the Civic Museums.
Abbonamento Musei Formula Extra: allows admission to 300 Museums in Lombardia and Piemonte for one year.
